Invoice and communication verification

As a security-focused organisation, we believe transparency helps protect our customers. Displaying our VAT number publicly allows you to independently verify any invoice or communication purporting to be from LGCIT.

How to verify an invoice or message

If you receive an invoice, email, or letter claiming to be from LGCIT that seems unusual:

  1. Check the VAT number at gov.uk/check-uk-vat-number — the registered name and address must match the details on this page
  2. Verify the payment details match those on your original contract or statement of work
  3. Contact us directly using the details on our Contact page — do not use phone numbers, email addresses, or payment details from the suspicious document

If something does not look right, do not pay.

We will never change our bank details by email without a telephone call to confirm. If you receive a payment change request, call us on our published number to verify before taking any action.
